Racing....

Still here? I guess I am. I don't have much to say right now. School is almost done and I've been riding and racing my bike alot. I leave for Collegiate Road Nationals tomorrow. I'll be competing in the RR and probably the open crit. Should be a good time. Our sponsor schwinn gave us free Peloton LTD frames to ride at Natz....and not gonna lie but those frames are sweet. Acceleration is amazing and its very responsive. So you'll probably see me on that for awhile...too because I don't really want to take the time to put the Frugeri back together.

I've done 14 races so far this year and I'm definitely stronger than last year, but I still have a lot to work on. I have about 40 more races this year left....I think I'll be able to get stronger.

So my form is alright right now, but I wish it was better. My goal for the Natz RR is to just keep with the pack. It'll be hard. As for the the rest of the season I plan on being in form for the Memorial Day Weekend races, Tour of Ohio, Superweek and Gateway Cup. I want to be able to upgrade to Cat 2 after ToO for superweek...I know it would be hard, but I'm up for the challenge. I just have to start riding smart. On Sunday I raced the Wheel and Sprocket crit up in Neenah. I was definitely one of the strongest guys in the field, but I played it stupid and did way too much work. I need to just stay in the field and then attack at the right moment when everyone is tired....oh well.

Well, other than that I'll try and update this thing a little bit more....oh yeah I'm in the running to be the UW cycling President. I'm up against the current Prez. Wish me luck...elections are tonight.
